Warsh Keeps Traders Waiting

Since last week:

As the market continues to digest recent Treasury Intervention, gold holds steady.

1. Warsh Speaks

Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh recently spoke at Jackson Hole where he said inflation was running too high and that it’s the central bank’s job to bring it under control. He was careful not to offer any forward guidance on the issue, but investors should keep his words in mind when anticipating any future action that the Fed takes under his direction in the near term.  With debt spiraling, the markets are looking at an environment rife with uncertainty. Click here to learn how you can prepare, no matter what eventually comes your way.

2. Gold Stays in Place

With the uncertainty in the markets brought about by the Treasury’s approach to the bond market, gold continues holding strong after its recent ascent. It largely held its range and will likely be testing upward movement amid continued uncertainty regarding how the Treasury’s plan will play out. You’ll want to continue adding to your portfolio and you can learn more about how to do that by clicking here.

3. Crypto’s Potential Bottom

Is the bottom in cryptocurrency officially in? It’s hard to say, but it looks more likely, and now might be the time to start watching to see if things turn around in the near future. The Treasury’s recent actions caused the price of Bitcoin to move up, but it’s unclear if that effect will last. Still, profitable days for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies could be closer than many traders think. Click here to learn the details and how you can buy in.

4. Robots Rise

At the recent edition of the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, companies from all over the world gathered to show off the latest and greatest in robotics innovations. While this included things like robots playing various sports, your attention should be focused on the robots that were able to seamlessly complete tasks related to industrial work, office work, tool use, and other rote forms of labor. This is the natural evolution of the AI industry and while the robotics companies will do well, the companies that supply those manufacturers will do even better. Click here to learn which ones you can invest in to profit.

What to Look For

Rate hike bets jumped after Chairman Warsh’s words, so that may affect market movement heading toward the next meeting.
