AI Worries Rattle the Market

Since last week:

Market turbulence continues to run rampant thanks to a confluence of factors.

1. Market Pain

The market slid as investors moved away from AI-related investing based on concerns about a slowdown in infrastructure buildouts. Even earnings from Tesla and Meta didn’t do much to assuage those concerns. This shows how things can take a turn when one sector props up an index and it’s what you want to avoid in your own investing. Click here to learn more about how you can best do that.

2. AI and Mining

Even if traders exercise more caution when it comes to AI some investments will still stand out. One such play is used in the mining industry to examine old records and find evidence of worthwhile ground for drilling. The company is already finding partners throughout the industry and is just right for investors who want a way to play both tech and the commodity sector. Click here to learn more.

3. More Commodity Weakness

Once again, attacks in the Strait of Hormuz rattled the market and this time it was gold and silver that suffered. They dropped to near recent support levels and there is no telling when the volatility may fully shake out. Tensions will continue for the foreseeable future and commodity prices will continue to be vulnerable because of it. As those prices near support levels, you should continue adding to your portfolio. Click here to learn the best way to approach that.

4. Palisades Moves Toward Restart

Holtec International is back on track to reopen the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant after correcting a mishap with a fuel rod. As work continues, the plant is set to become the first shut-down plant in the US to return to operations. Given the demand for nuclear power, it won’t be the last. Click here to learn how you can profit from the increased uranium demand this will bring.

What to Look For

Just as it has in the past, gold could recover in short order. Watch for that as we head toward the next Fed meeting.
